Yes I do have PCOS. I started out with my OB who perscribed clomid first, but it didnt work my progesterone was way to low. He then referred me to an RE who's been wonderful, he did the HSG test and it came back i had two blocked tubes ( turns out my bowels was attached to my ovaries) he separated the two, and said my tubes were excellent and i didnt need to have them removed. So he put me back on Clomid (5-9) and we did the first scan and only counted 9 follies, we went back in today after the clomid and did a scan and there were 15 follies on each side, with one that is @ 10 mm. They scheduled me again on the 7th of december to come back and see if any others have came through and how big they are. then he will tell me when i can do the trigger shot. I am also on glumetza which is metformin type medicine. So far so good, i'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out : )
Do you have PCOS? I saw on your other post that you are also on metformin. it sounds to me like you have cysts and one follicle trying to mature. If you do have PCOS you shouldn't be taking clomid as it causes cysts. And you should see an RE not your OB, I hope that helps. There are other drugs that work better than clomid.
I had over 100 cysts and needed surgery, follistim and IUI but I got pregnant! don't lose hope :)
Thanks! I've been trying to keep my mind occupied most of the time to keep my mind off of it….
I dont know weather to be happy/sad/nervous/ect. its all very new to me!

I had talked to my friend that took Clomid and it took her 6 rounds for it to work. so when I started I thought for sure it was not going to happen right away, that we were in for a 6 month process for us. I never thought it would have worked in the first round like it did. I actually told some of my friends that 1st round didn't work... we are onto round 2. I didn't want to jynx myself. I'm now 16 1/2wks lots to go still but it can work. Just try not to stress yourself out over it all, Stress doesn't help at all.
Good Luck!
