Semen Analysis

GVG
I am 39 yrs old and my husband is 46 yrs old. We have only son whom we lost in last year. Now, we would like to go for children again.
My husband underwent for a Vasectomy reconilization in Sep 2007. His semen analysis was said perfect when checked after 6 weeks time. Still I didnot conceive. Latest semen analysis report says:

Semen Count  # 1ml
Motility 10%

Could you please suggest if these parameters are enough for fertility?
Please advise us what else we need to check in Semen Analysis?

Regards,
Gvg

sounds like you need a more detailed semen analysis, my husbands showed so many different #bers and they grade the sperm A B C or D.  My Dr always says  that out of the milllions that they produce daily it only takes 1 sperm to fertilize an egg!  Stay hopeful and good luck, if its meant to be it will happen!!!   fit4fun

I'm in my early 20s I get more or less 5ml I read online that it should be between 2-5ml but a lot of stuff online is unreliable so I don't know for certain.

Semen samples can vary greatly though if he's had a sample passed fertile it could just be this latest sample was taken on a bad day. I'm sure even the most fertile of men will occassionally produce infertile samples.
