i had my egg transfer on the 11th july and my nurse has told me go for my blood test on the 22nd july which is only 11 days after transfer and i have read that it usually 14 days should i still go for it or should i wait will i get an acurate reading.

This is what happens in a 3dt :

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

Hi Grimesey,

Usually it is 11-14 dpt for 3 day transfer and they say 9-11 days for 5 day transfee. I had 3 day transfer and my doc wants me the 14th day to come for my blood test. which is on wednesday 07/20.
Just stay hydrated and Happy laughing excersise is very good for you. I know 2ww can be very challenging. Fingers crossed and lets hope for the best. :-)
