positive opk even after sustained temp rise?!!

According to fertility friend, I am 7 days past ovulation.  But I'm still getting a positive on my opks (but only when tested with first morning urine).  They are definite positives too.  (I'm still testing because I have to use these strips up within a month so I figured I might as well rather than tossing them).

Anyone know why this might happen?  I do not have PCOS and I am on clomid days 5-9 (100 mgs).  I got my first positive on Day 19 and it was positive throughout the day not just with FMU.  Every morning after that, the opk has still been positive.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Random Lh surges are not uncommon. That is why there is a window to test during. Results outside of this time are ambiguous and should not be considered. I tested every day for a full cycle, just to see what would happen. Four separate surges. The only one that counted was the one during the test time frame, which was confirmed by bbt.
