Hi there,
Metformin is used to lower insulin, androgen, and cholesterol  levels. It helps to improve metabolism in women who are insulin-resistant. It helps regulate menstrual cycles, start ovulation, and lower the risk of miscarriage in women with PCOS. Metformin can also help in regularizing menstrual cycles and starting ovulation in about 40-45% of women with PCOS.It may be more effective when taken with Clomiphene .Do consult your gynecologist for more queries. Please keep me posted.
Best regards!
