Anyone up on new research?

According to Dr. de Meirleir, a major cause of ME/CFS is a high level of the chemical hydrogen sulfide (H2S).  http://chronicfatigue.about.com/b/2009/05/29/breaking-news-chronic-fatigue-syndrome-cause-mechanism-diagnostic-test-discovered-researchers-say.htm  Just wondering on others thoughts.

Thanks for the link.  I had IBS for years before I was dx with CFS in 1994. I also had  interstitial cystitis prior, not to mention a couple of episodes of bronchitis and meningismus.

Isn't this great ? I did recently post a link to Dr. De Meirleir's new research that was presented at the International CFS/ME Conference in London:

http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Fibromyalgia---CFS/New-Research-on-What-Causes-CFS-ME-by-Dr-Kenny-De-Meirleir--MD-PhD/show/963052

I've read articles written by Dr. DeMeirleir in the past. If I remember right, he is the founder of Red Labs, USA (now called VIP dx).... and if I'm not mistaken, he was the first physician who came out with a lab test on spinal fluid that could diagnose fibro or CFS. He also recognizes mycoplasma infections in two-thirds of fibro and CFS patients.... just like Prof. Garth Nicolson's research had found.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about this and getting that urine test done !
