Couple weird questions

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out all this stuff and my next step.  Please help me.  i hope I am not being a pain (no pun intended)

I have been diagnosed with so many things in the past three years.  They seem to have narrowed it down to Fibro, (and all that goes with it) and polyneuropathy.  i know normaly they don't go together but that's what the NVC said.

My questions:

My symptoms are much worse in the morning.  i am dizzy, more pain, muscle tightness.....Is this normal for fibro?

How common is tinnitus and floaters?   both are worse

My feet can go from normal to FREEZING in no time flat and for no reason.  Anyone else?

ANY muscle I use tightens up.  My jaw, hands, legs, arms.  Again how normal is this?

The colder I am the more pain I am in.  Cold seems to really aggrivate my pain.  Including ice cream on my jaw, when my hands get cold they are hard to move and hurt bad.  This is even worse in my feet.  I was checked for vascular stuff and my circulation tested ok although my feet were ice bricks at the time.

Plus my breathing seems harder sometimes during the day, almost like it hurts to breath.  Please help. Thank you

Lyme, diabetes, ms, als lupus............, all clear.

AM I CRAZY????

can you tell me all your symptoms of costochondritis please.  I looked it up and i can't believe how much that fits some of my newest symptoms.  Also what did you do for it?

Thanks

You're quite welcome.  I know it's hard to wrap our minds around this dx when some days we feel like checking into ER.

I have had the costochondritis before and it was painful (also scary).  It does ease up eventually, but takes months...that was my experience with it.

Try to get good rest and do what you can to lessen the stressors.   Continue to keep health appts. so they will make sure nothing else goes on down the road (ie. bloodwork, x-rays, etc).  Also, you might want to check out our Health Pages as there are some methods that you may benefit from trying.

Take care of yourself.

VaBreeze,

Thank you.  According to last couple of docs I have all but one of the fibro points. Lack of sleep, what I eat and stress makes things much worse.  I guess I need to believe I will be ok.

Actually, FMS can have neuropathy (this would be the tingling/numbness/burning skin that is felt).

Extreme temperatures will definitely make the symptoms worse.  Even changes in temperatures (the barometric pressure rising or falling) or moist, rainy days.

Both tinnitus and floaters have been reported as symptoms.  The cold sensations in your feet could be another part of the neuropathy.

Feeling worse upon waking would seem to be the way your FMS hits.  Some have reported the same experience.  For others it can be worse at nighttime.  FMS is a bit different for everyone; manifesting symptoms in a variety of ways at different times.

The breathing could be contributed to costochondritis, which can overlap FMS symptoms.

Since all of your testing has been negative, it seems that all you describe are things that have been reported as FM symptoms in others.

I hope you feel better soon.

Well I have been tested twice by Elisha(?) at a neuro muscular clinic.  And negative for coinfection.  Is that not enough?
