FM?

Hi,

I am a shift work worker. For about a year or so now I have had lots of pain in the back of my heels, my feet and my knees. Sometimes the pain is so so terrible and other days, not there at all. I'm not on my feet all day, I sit at work so it's not from strain on that. I am often tired, but that could be from the shift work... and recently I found two strange bruises on my shoulder blades. They didn't hurt but they came from out of no where, so I'm not even sure they were bruises. I'm not sure if that's even related to my pain problems but I have never been able to get answers. Been to the doc's and I have tested negative for just about everything. Lupus, Arthritis.. etc. Could this be Fibromyalgia related? Do my symptoms sound familiar? Is the pain constant for FM patients?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks so much. I find myself in the exact same position you are. Pain, Tired, Bruises, Sweating, everything you said.
Hope I can find a good doctor to help me. I've been to several and they just don't know because nothing specific on what they thought it was is coming up in blood work. Other than all this and right before all these systems, I was in perfectly good health. Just a regular 22 year old. It's extremely frustrating.
Please keep my updated if you hear more from any of your doctors!

I have pain almost constantly, but then it can get better at times. I feel tired when I am at home and not doing anything but sometimes I am ok. I have excessive sweating and feel warm almost all the time. I just had a radical amount of blood work done and hope to be getting the results back sometime soon. I have had bruises show up out of nowhere and not sure where they came from, if that makes you feel any better. I haven't had a lot of luck recently until I found the doctor I am seeing now. She has referred me to other offices, because I seen a pain specialist and he didn't find anything wrong with me and suggested to me that I was depressed. I discussed this over with my doctor and stated what he had said and she disagreed, who wouldn't be depressed if you have pain all the time. Well to make a long story short, keep fighting and make doctors listen.
