Fibro related?

Hello, and thanks for reading.  I posted this elsewhere by accident but think this is a better place for it since it MIGHT be fibro related, so here goes.
I'm very torn as to what to do at this point so any input would be appreciated.
My mother is going in for brain surgery on Tuesday to remove a tumor.  We want/need to go and see her before she goes in but my health has me very hesitant and worried it might not be the best for me to go.

A little history, I have fibromyalgia so am very aware of how my body works.  Over the past couple months I have experienced extra health issues that I contributed to perimenopause.  Two periods in October, uncharacteristic mood swings, extra lack of energy, heart palpitations. Two days ago a pain in my left upper abdomen started and shortly after pain between my shoulders, fibro head w/o a flare, very fatigued, dizzy when I stand, legs itch when I stand and a low grade fever which seems to come and go and finally random hiccups (odd??)

With the fever coming and going I'm concerned about going to see her because of that and think maybe I should see a doctor first (but this is time sensitive).  I also worry that if I do go to the doctor first and testing needs to be done I may not be able to go and see her... feels like a catch 22.  Does any of this sound familiar fibro wise? Is it possibly just new fibro stuff that I can put off until after Tuesday?  I've done a bit of research on the symptoms and it quite frankly has me worried with no clue what the best course of action is.

Update:
It's been a crazy couple days, I was tachycardic when I got to the hospital, multiple tests done and my heart is ok but they aren't sure what the problem is.  The doctor is "guessing" it's pleurisy (can be a symptom of a different problem) since my white blood count is elevated and nothing showed up on the xrays etc .... so has me on anti-inflammatories and antibiotics, if things don't get better in a few days I go back in for more testing.

Hubby just headed out with the girls to take them to wait with the family at the hospital.   Fingers are crossed.
Thanks again everyone for helping me get out of the circle I was in, you helped more than you know.
*gentle hugs*

Thanks so much for your replies and well wishes *gentle hugs* I didn't even think of asking her doctor, too busy running in circles I suppose. Thanks so much for the suggestion.
I called a family member who is there now and they are checking, hopefully I get an answer soon.  I will keep you posted.

Some of it does sound like it could be fibro w/the added joy of perimenopause (I'm there w/you) on top of it, but fevers usually mean an infection of some sort.  If you continue to spke a fever I would either get in w/the doctor, or at the very least, check w/your mom's doc to make sure it is safe to visit.
Good luck and ((gentle hugs)) for all you are dealing with.

First, I'm sorry to hear of your mom's upcoming surgery - I hope all goes well with that.

Your symptoms could be fibro related, but there also could definitely be somethign else going on - perhaps even an autoimmune disease.

While I can certainly understand your desire and need to see your mom before her surgery, I'm also certain you don't want to add any risk to her surgrey and recovery by possibly bringing anything contagious in to her.  Therefore, my suggestion would be to speak with either HER doctor or YOUR doctor, explain your symptoms and ask them if they feel that it would be ok for you to go into see her if you wear a mask and possibly even gloves.  I actually think her doctor would be the best one to speak to, as that is the person who has your mom's care under their wing and would know more what the risks are of a possible exposure to something contagious.

I hope things turn out well for both you and your mom!
