Fibromyalgia, RLS, anxiety, lack of sleep, something else?

I took an antibiotic(cipro) on the 3rd of august(500mg 2 times a day for 7 days). the first few days i was taking it, i had slight nausea after taking it. I drank green tea a couple hours before i took it a few times. 2 days before my last dose, i started getting stomach cramps and diarrhea, which continued for 4 days. the day of my last dose, i was sitting on my bed indian style like i had done dozens of times in the past, and my legs fell asleep, so i got up to walk around and normally the sleepy leg feeling goes away and the pain is gone, but this time it wasn't the case. I got up to walk around to get the sleepy pain feeling to go away, and the sleepy feeling went away, but not the pain.

i went to the doctors, he said i had inflammation in the back of my knee. I put ice on the inflamed areas, which seemed to help, but the naproxen did not have an effect on the pain or the inflammation it seemed. other dull pain in my legs came after that and seemed to be centralized/localized around the back of my knee and calf muscle. i then started getting pain in my other leg, in the same place. Then it seemed to be migratory about a week later, as i had the same dull pain at the back of my elbow and forearm, although it didn't seem to effect the other arm. This lasted for about 3 weeks. During that 3 weeks, i had loss of appetite and fatigue, but no fever. I had dehydration also. Several days after i was treated for dehydration, I had a bout of nausea and vomiting, which only lasted for a couple days. I also started getting neck pain after the second week, felt like my lymph nodes were the source of pain, but it was also generalized. I also have lots of popping in joints. there is one popping noise that has been there pretty much from the beginning which is in the knee, where the pain seemed to have started, but is real quiet/faint noise, whereas the others when they pop are heard and sometimes loud. I had stiffness in the morning for for the first 2 weeks, that seemed to be coupled with the pain.

I felt the pain had subsided and started walking. I walked about half a block, and my ankle and foot started hurting(sharp stabbing/stinging pain followed by dull pain after the sharp pain subsided). The pain lasted for about 5 days, but the stinging/sharp stabbing pain is still there when i walk(more than around my house) and sometimes at rest(no exercise, slight stretching).  Now the dull pain in my arm and legs only comes back at night, sometimes with light stretching and when i walk more than a half a block. Sometimes when i walk or after stretching my calf muscles get cold sensations. I recently went out for a brisk walk, and my thighs got some tingling, that went away when i stopped walking.

I have had trouble falling asleep the first 3 weeks, with anxiety and the pain for the first 2 weeks, and was able to fall asleep easier, but still had trouble staying asleep, as the pain would wake me up. the dull pain seems to still be pronounced during the night and into the morning and then subside through the day. i go to sleep every night at 10 and wake up at 4 with slight dull leg pain most nights and i wake up still tired. I am able to fall back asleep pretty easy but only for less than 4 hours. Also when i settle in for bed sometimes,  my legs will start twitching and i get the pins and needles feeling and i get weird tense feeling on the other side of my knee. After the rls, i get weird itchy/tingly/twitchy feeling(same as leg feeling) in my foot that goes away if i itch it.  i don't seem to be fatigued anymore. my lymph nodes/dull neck pain comes and goes. i haven't had tingling and/or numbness in hands or toes, and i've only had that itchy/tingling feeling a couple times in my foot, and it seems to be the same foot. the pain isnt constant. i dont have pain when pressure is applied to certain pressure points, only my neck. I seems i am more forgetful, i will forget where i put things if i don't put them in the same place i normally do, and i'll forget what im doing, for instance ill get a glass to get some water and start walking away from the kitchen with it empty, and then realize it when i go to drink from it and have to go fill it up with water.

I dont have allergies or sensitivities that i am aware of.  I have had headaches on the top of my head, the back of my head, but mainly in my forehead. The front forehead headaches were there before i started the medication. I haven't ever had a sore throat since taking the medication. The first two weeks i had some cognitive problems, a few episodes of slurred speech, one episode of blurry vision, and one episode of dizziness/lightheadedness when swinging on a swing vigorously. But that all went away and i have not had another episode since. I drink 2 full glasses of water before bedtime, and still wake up with dry eyes, but not dry mouth. A week before i started my period i had pain on my left side where my ovary is, which came and went and disappeared when i had my period. My period was irregular, bleeding heavy for two days, then really light almost stopping for a day, then medium, and then light again. i chest pain when falling asleep most of the time. Had the following blood work done: sed rate, rf, quantitative, gonorrhea/clamidia, cbc/platelet/full auto diff, complete metabolic panel, c-diff test, juvenile arthritis, lyme disease, and creatine kinase. All normal or negative.

The doctors seem to think it is related to anxiety or that it is a virus, and that i dont require further testing, that if anything was wrong with me it would come up in the blood work they did, something would be off...I think i require further testing. i eat relatively healthy, organic meals with lots of good bacteria, fruit, veggies, and grains. i can't tolerate most meats or fishes, greasy fatty foods, salty foods, sugary foods, or dairy.

Is there suggestions of what you think this could be? And are there other tests that i should have done to help rule out all possible causes, or questions/things to say to the doctor to agree to more testing?

thanks,

Lyme disease tests are not accurate, so I still would not rule this one out. You have many symptoms of Lyme.

The anxiety, pains, twitching, etc...  I would suggest that you definitely look into your electrolytes/minerals: Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, Calcium.  Especially magnesium and potassium.

Check with your doctor first.

You could get magnesium through an Epsom Salt bath soak, magnesium-rich foods, and/or supplements.  The safer and more effective forms include: Taurate, Glycinate, and Citrate.

Some food sources of Potassium: potatoes (including chips), OJ, bananas, cantaloupes, and beer.
