Generalised Pain - Fibromylgia??

From last 20 years i am having pain in - Neck - Upper Arm Muscles. Back & Chest Muscles. Lower Back Both Sides -  Leg Muscles - mostly in left leg. Sometime the leg pain is so strong that it makes me difficult to walk. and if it is combined by chest and back pain. I have difficulty in getting out of bed.

I have forgotten the last I have slept quietly and peacefully 'cause when i sleep I have to turn over again again and again as the portion on which i am sleeping gets cramped and pains - like the upper arm, shoulder, the chest .. I normally move and turn around in bed quite a times during a night sleep.

Many years back I had approached a doctor who had sone x rays for slip disc and other back bone related diagnosis but he told me that there is no problem in it and then after I have never consulted any doctor for the same.

Rarely I to take Diclofenac Sodium tabs, but very rarely.

Will someone help me out and dignosis basics of the problem so that I can with the results approach
a qualified Med Practitioner in that specified field.

Please note that the pain is not constant. It normally lasts for 3 to 7 days.

Also my muscles get easily fatigued and pain.

I would suggest that you read the information in our Health Pages to see some of the symptoms involved in these illnesses.  There are so many symptoms involved and FMS/CFS can mimic other disease.  If you are asking could you have it...yes...however, you could also have MS, Lyme or something else that is causing your pain.

What type of test have you had other than x-rays?  Do you have any other medical problems that have been dx'd?  Have you had an MRI or been tested for anything else such as Thyroid or Lyme?

We also have 'Expert Forum's' where you can ask a question and get a response from one of MedHelp's Doctors.  I was not implying that you were trying to cure or treat it yourself and i'm sorry if that is the impression you had.  Please take the time to review the symptom list in our Health Pages as it will give you a more indepth view on these conditions.

Dear Sir

Thank you for your response.

I just require a rough idea about the type of ailment I am suffering.

I do not intend to cure it myself NOR take any medication
without any proper medical supervision.

Kindly, if possible, suggest what might be ailing me.

Regards

We can't diagnose you as only a physician is able to do that.  There is some good information in our Health Pages that will help you see if your symptoms appear to be those of fibromyalgia or cfs.  This will give you a better idea of what these illnesses cover.

To find a specialist in your area you can google "Co-Cure's" good doctor list and see if there is one available.

I hope you can get to see someone soon who can help you with your pain.
