Thank you all. I have been tested for a lot, Lyme included. Along with MS, Lupus, vitamin deficiencies, and I don't know what else. I never heard of the others you mention though. I will have to look them up.
Kevieb- You know I never thought of it that way. That does make sense. If I feel like I can breath better, I probably am. That does help relax things. More oxygen to the blood.
It can't be family, because even though I love seeing them. I am stressed to the max when I am with them...lol.
if you feel like you can breath better--you probably are breathing better. i think i have heard that better breathing relaxes the muscles more--so that could account for less pain. just a thought. sure must be nice to have a little less pain once in a while.
Hey Jilyin.
Welcome to the forum.
There are too many different variables to arrive at anything conclusive.
Yes, indeed, damp weather may worsen the severity of symptoms.
When the barometric pressure falls, there's a positive charge so the positive “ions” increase, thus causing depletion of cortisone levels.
Cortisone is the natural hormone that helps us deal with pain.
Also emotional factors, such as family (could be positive or negative),
should not be ignored, as they have a significant effect on the physiological level.
At a different note, have you ruled out pathogenic infections ( Lyme, Pathogenic Mycoplasma , Borrelia etc) as underlying causes for your condition. If you haven't please take time to read some of the related posts here, as it is very common with Fibro. Also do some research
Any questions, just post again.
Blessings
Niko
It could be that where you are in NY is less humd than where you live in MD. I find, while cold weather makes me hurt the worst, humid weather also affects my pain levels greatly.
