Have it or Not

I have been suffering for two years now with burning muscle pain, fatigue and just feeling rotten. Went to Dr back in 2007 was checked for lupus, lime artheritis, neuropathy, etc. I have almost all the symptons of fibro but shy of 3 Dr. said he didn't think I had it but gave me lyrica anyway no avail Still feeling the same went to endo blood work came back or except my hormones were at of wack Then developed two nodules on my thryoid which are only mm blood work came back ok. Thinning hair dry skin but everything is ok with blood So of course 5 drs later and another scrip for savella I'm back at square one. The dr's look at me like I'm nuts not to say the one I went to today ask me of I was depressed. Told him yeah wouldn't you be if for two years you feel like dying and no dr can give you a diagnose My question is of all the symptons I have and all the things I have read it sounds like I have fibro. Any help would be appreciated as I donot know where to turn anymore. I will start savella tomorrow and see if it works.

burning muscle pain is an unusual symptom as most people complain of dull  or sharp pain usuually involving the joints as well. I have the same muscle pain as you described as well as fatigue. If your symptoms started with an acute illness particularly if it involved some GI symptoms, you may want to consider a viral etiology. i went through many test and many therapies before i think a doctor finally hit on my cause. Investigate Dr John Chia and enteroviruses.

Hello,
It sounds like you've been through a lot and have seen a lot of doctors! Many of us here can relate including me. You seem to have quite a bit of symptoms. If I were you I would follow your own advice and try the Savella. See what you think. From my experience with those types of medications, it takes a good 4-6 weeks before you would see a benefit from it. Make sure to follow up with your doctor and possibly ask for a referral to a Rheumatologist if you need to. Good luck.
