I am offically One of the Group!
I got the offical diagonises of fibro today. I don't know if I want to cry or be glad. I know its not Rheumatoid or stuff like that. But now I have to live with this.
I am glad to hear that at least you have a diagnosis. I do know that researchers have been working hard to find a cause for fibro and a treatment.
It is a "syndrome" which is a group of symptoms with no known cause. There is a cause but no one knows what it is.....There is primary fibro and secondary fibro. Primary is that it is a problem in itself ??cause. Seconday means the fibro symptoms are being caused by a disease process. Fibro can be a secondary problem to things like lyme, lupus and other autoimmune diseases.
Group of symptoms of something else? If it's not a disease, what is it? A condition? What is the something else?
