I need a Dr.

I need to find a dr., I live in Cleveland, Tenn. My fibromyalgia pain is unreal. Right now, I can take a loratab, xanax, and a soma, and I can still be in bed crying. I don't want to go on disablity, I am a nail tech and getting ready to go back to work. I have taken a few months off. I feel so bad today, and hurt so bad, just the thought of going back to work scares me.  Is there something new out there that can help me cope with the pain? I can't take antidepressants, they seem to do the exact opposite of what they are supposed to do. I need a good doctor, can anyone help put in in the right direction finding someone to treat this????  Please help,  thanks,   LIZ

Lyrica was just approved several months ago for fibro. It helps a lot with the nerve pain.  It really worked for me, allowing me to start walking again and swimming. Unfortunately, it also causes weight gain in some people. I was one of them, and had to quit as I also have type 2 diabetes. You might look into it. It rally did help with the pain a lot. Good luck, I know working is really challangeing with fibro. I work all week, then rest all weekend. Please post how you're doing.

I would suggest googling, "Co-Cure's Good Doctor List". It is a list of physicians around the world who know how to diagnose and treat fibromyalgia and CFS.

I also have the list, as well as other physicians' on my website. It is an MSN group called "Neuro-ImmuneSupport".

Good luck !
