Does anyone take lyrica and if so,  has it made a difference resting at night?   Thanks.

Are you still taking Lyrica? I have been taking it for about two weeks, and have suddenly been unable to sleep at night. When I take my morning dose I just literally pass out for a couple of hours. My evening dose has the opposite effect - I take it and am awake for hours. Any suggestions?

I have taken it and it wasn't the miricle Fibromyalgia drug that my doctor said it was supposed to be.  I stopped taking it after a couple of weeks.  Same as the post above, most drugs that "should" work on me don't....very frustrating.

Rich - I took Lyrica for one week.

I had to stop taking it because it made me feel like I was walking sideways like a crab and the world felt tilted. Plus a severe headache... And a Flu type feeling. It made me feel nervous.

It wasn't pleasant for me.

BUT --- I must keep telling folks --- I react differently to medications than others. I am super sensitive to some - and not sensitive at all to others.

For example: Ritalin makes me fall asleep and makes me very hungry. Coffee makes me nervous and zone out... Valium makes me very grumpy and Lorazepams wake me up. Vicodin doesn't do much to me. Percocets make me wide awake and make me stop feeling pain - but they don't cause me to feel "high" like my friends who have taken them - they don't make me dizzy or drowsy. Paxil made me yawn continuously and made my eye twitch. Cox-2 inhibitors don't work on me.

So go figure.

I can only tell you what it did for me.
