Please refer to a thread I started a while back, regarding some suggestions to deal with fibro symptoms and pain, by searching here in this community under: "IWILLDOTHIS".

Best wishes to all.

I have chemical sensitivity.  I cant take medications without getting a headache.  It happens with supplements too.  Im not sure of the mechanism in our bodies that cause this but its horrible.  At first it started out that I would take a med for a month and then have all these horrible side effects.  Well now I cant take anything with out starting at a very low dose (and even that doesn't work some times).  I feel your pain =(.

I think we all do... we find something that works and we get excited and happy about it and suddenly it doesn't do what it was doing.

I think our bodies don't know how to react to something new - so at first it "goes along with it",  until it decides it isn't what it wants and rejects it.

I know that I have tried so many NSAIDS and find that Ibuprofen does absolutely nothing for Fibromyalgia.  I take Naproxen when the pain gets unbearable.  Otherwise, I just live with my "normal" pain and take supplements to help me get by.
