Thanks for the info. I deal with a lot of pain, but not the tiredness and yuckiness/pain that those who have CFS deal with. It seems like no matter what I do in the morning, the pain I get in the afternoons and evenings is really bad. I cry a lot to myself, and get headaches, too.
Don't get discouraged, though. Things will get better. They are making great headway with understanding a virus called XMRV which they suspect is behind all of this. I suspect it won't be too long now until we get some answers. :)
worse in the morning, so i rest as much as possible, and this contributes to a better afternoon/ evening. in fact often, in the evening i'll feel so pain-free that i expect i'll be 'freed' 'the next morning, and healed of all the yuck!! and then well we know that hasn't happened yet.
if it is worse in the afternoon it's because i did too much earlier in the day :/
Sorry to hear how bad you feel. I know what you mean. It's a never ending cycle for me, too. Wish we had some answers. Have you been tested for XMRV? I'm hoping that the Wittemore Peterson Institute will have some answers soon.
It just really varies for me, personally. Some days it is more than I can do to get out of bed, and other days it is more than I can do to make back to the bed... Ya' know?
I do have a lot of late evening and night intense pain, I also have more stress and anxiety at night that I can't really figure out what is bringing it on.
There are quite a few nights that I have to take pain pills in order for my body to 'shut down' and go to sleep!
It's really a never ending cycle that seems to change with the wind!
I am stiff in the mornings, too, but the worst pain is always in the afternoons and evenings. I can function alright in the mornings, but the pain is so bad in the afternoons and evenings that I have to lie in bed and just do my best to survive. I'm happy that I have a few hours to function in the mornings.
Hi! My stiffness is definitely worse in the wornings, as is my fatigue, but the pain seems to come at random. Also the body parts that hurt in the morning may change by the evening to a completely different area.
