Pain in fingers and toes

I'm not sure if this is from FM or not, but I get pains in my fingers and toes that are like a cross between a stabbing feeling and an electrical shock.  I have pins and needles frequently but this is independnt of them. I also have  nerve compression / irritation from a herniated disc. I went to the neurosurgeon on monday - but he was quite sceptical about the whole FM thing.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Thanks

If you suspect FM please find a doctor who specializes in your area. It's easy for other doctors to discount your pain and say that FM doesn't exist. I see a Rheumatologist. I have finger and toe pains with my FM. To me it feels like arthritis but they say I do not have arthritis but it's FM pains. Good Luck

I hear you and I myself been having pain in my hands and fingers and feet and calves,,,My joints in my fingers and between each one the little fatty area gets swollen and so painful and same in my feet and pins and needles in my feet and calves. I been wondering if it was the fibro or maybe I have arthritis...I was told from the siatic nerve caused my numb feet and calves but not so sure anymore. I am having a hard time finding a doctor who truly understands the diease..

If you find out would love to hear from you..

Thank you, jadore_
