Just wondering if any one was given a EMG to help diagnose Fibromyalgia? My PCP ordered both blood work, EMG and x ray of lower back.
Just wondering if any one was given a EMG to help diagnose Fibromyalgia? My PCP ordered both blood work, EMG and x ray of lower back.
I didn't have an EMG, possibly because I wasn't reporting muscle weakness, only pain, fatigue and random weird sensations. I would think an EMG would be helpful, if for no other reason than to rule some other things out that could be causing or contributing to your symptoms.
