I was diagnosed over a year ago with fibromyalgia.  Cymbalta was my first meds.  It made me so numb arms hands legs feet they did nerve tests.  Ithey tried me on amatriptyline.  Cymbalta did not give me energy.  In fact I have more off of it.
A month ago I bought magnesium oil roll on because I have no tub to soak in and remember that Epsom salts have magnesium(diff kind).  I remembered it helped me relax.
I applied it all over and 20 min later I was pain free.
I put it on daily now or nightly depends when I need it worse.  I can now clean my house bath daily and play with my cats.  I did not realize how sad it's been in our house when I used to hurt.

I'm only on lyrica and Mobic now thanks to the magnesium oil.
I know I still have fibromyalgia.  The blood test confirmed I have it (FM/A test).
I will not come off the lyrica as I know the pain will always be there.  I am now down to 1-2 on pain scale from 4_9.

I've been going through this same thing. But I have a hard time just believing nothing makes ur body hurt. I don't understand what the doctors actually call fibromyalgia.  OK my feet hurt bad my toes u curled up my bones in my ankle r separate my knees hurt hips lower back. Neck shoulders headaches jaw. Arm leg feet and legs go numb.  I really think it is fixable . I think one bone is connected to the other and if one is just out of place even just a little it will cause this to happen to us. U need to get up out of bed.  That's y ur depressed and tired. But once u get up it will get better.  U can get over this but u have to be strong and want ur life back. If u want to talk u cab text me 8127186210 I feel I can help

Hello, I hope your feeling better now. I have FM, depression, chronic fatigue, breathing issues ect.... So I can relate to your problem. first thing you need to do is get you ppo guide and get in to see a rheumtoligus. He will be able to helo w/ the FM pain and inflamation. When I findly found a dr that actually belived that FM is a real thing, I started getting some where. Once you get your pain whith in a reasanable lever It will help alot with your depression, I cannot tell you how many days I've staded in bed. I only got up to go to the bathroom, and I slept about 18-20 hour a day. I felt like there was nothing to get up for. I still have bouts of server depression, when i'm haveing a flare up,  I also take lyrica w/ the cymbalta. they seem to work well together. Goof luck with everything. rember that you are in charge of your health care. don't let the incurance company run over you. keep changing dr. untill you get one you like and knows what FM is. LOL

I started taking 60 mg cymbalta around 6 weeks ago for depression and fibromyalgia. I felt I was getting into deeper drepression and still hurting.I went to the Dr and told him and he up the meds. The Dr doubles my dose to 120 mg cymbalta. It has help the pain some but I don't feel right. I am staying sleepy and feel very depress. Can anyone help me with this. p.s. are there any other fibromyalgia patients out there who have problems with your hands, stiffness, weakness, and feeling "swollen" my hands hurt a lot, and doctors are telling me that its not connected. I doctors dont seem to know much or anything about fibromyalgia. I need help, I just switched health insurances and have a PPO plan where i can be more proactive in my own health care now, thank god!
