diagnosing fibromyalgia

What does fibromyalgia feel like? I am having weird pains in my skin and bones and I'm trying to find out if that is what's happening to me. It is random grapefruit sized sections of skin that ache so bad and are very sensitive to touch and temperature. Sometimes it is a shooting pain through my bone combined with the skin sensitivity, but usually it is just a constant dull ache. Sometimes it is in my hand, like it is right now. Sometimes it is in my leg or my ribs or anywhere. I have read some other peoples' questions who feel similar to me. But do we have fibromyalgia? or is it something else?

Thanks for helping me to quit ignoring this issue and figuring out I'm not the only one.
