I  can only turn my head to the left so far and I am getting pain and it goes up behind my ear and into my head could this be coming from my fibromyalgia?  I have never had it there before. Mostly elbows and knees and shoulder sometimes.

Hmmm, need more info. How did your pain start? How long have you had this pain? What tests have you had? Physical therapy? What kind of doctors have you seen? What medications are you on? How old are you?

Have you been to the doctor? They may need to do an MRI, or CT Scan of your neck. I have breif moments of not being able to turn my head either way, but like you it burns real bad. They think my cartroid arteries are inflamed. I will go see a cardologist for that next week, in the mean time was put on prednisone to help bring down the inflammation. The MRI and CT Scan did not show this, my doctor told me when she felt underneath the right side of the chin, (where it is tender and swollen) it feels hard around my artery. I would not let this go for very long, go get checked.
