help i need fibromyalgia advice

hi, im 25 years old and live in NewZealand, i had been suffering from pain of all muscles and joints especially in my lower back neck and head, aswell as radiating sharp pains in my chest arms hands, hips, legs and feet, chronic fatigue, weakness and insomnia. i have only just joined this community and is it so good (but sad too) to see that i am not alone with this illness. personally i know no one who shares this condition (fibromyalgia) which has only been recently diagnosed eventhough i have spent the last 2 years fighting for an answer that could give me peace of mind. i have had so many physical and psychological problems such as hypermobility, rhumatoid failier , irritable bowels, reacurring headachs, i get swallen liver and kidney infection (for which couldnt be explained) and also had some seriouse problems with post traumatic stress disorder as a teen (thankfully i worked through and recovered from this by the age of 20 years old) i want to believe that it is fibromyalgia, purley because this is the only answer that i have had in my 3 years with these problems, even though this cant be tested for. does my symptoms defffinitly sound like fibromyalgia or could their be some underlying problem that hasnt been cheaked for, because i have tryed all the meds that could have allievated some of my symptoms and none of them works, i also exercise and practice relaxation methods regularly as that was also recommended an yet i still get major flare-ups in pain . i gave up on the doctors because the search for answers caused me to much distress. i need advice on how i can get my life and pain on track i feel like i have tryed everything and nothing seems to work it not only affects me but my children and partner are also sufferring because of my condition. i just need somthing to change... but what?

thank you so much for your responce, i really appreciate the feedback, i have never heard of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrom but now i will definitly look into it as i have never fully accepted that its just fibro alone causing me so many problems. i wish you luck in finding your diagnosis, cause it is just so difficult to travel down that path to which has no answers. i do wish you all the best, thanx again :)

Hi there,
     Have any of the doctors looked into Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome?  You have some of the symptoms and it can be diagnosed with fibro and make the fibro symptoms worse.  Here is some info for you.

I hope your flare goes away soon.  I know how frustrating and depressing the pain can be.  I also have chronic pain and have been trying to find a diagnosis for years.  Don't give up!
