please help!!

I am hoping that some one out there can help me. I have been feeling horrible for the last 2+ years now and my doctors have not been able to help me. Every day I wake up feeling awful. Muscle and joint pain, jaw pain, extreme fatigue, anxiety, and headaches/migraines are just the beginning. I have had chronic problems with my feet as well(plantar fasciatis, tendonitous, bursitous, and mortons neuroma). My aches range from joint pain, to musle pain/tightness/weakness, to pain deep down in my bones. Some days are worse than others, although the pain and fatigue are always there. I also suffer from insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and most recently, asthma(I have never had asthma before). I have also noticed that my hair is becoming extremely thin. I have seen a neurologist for the chronic headaches and migraines who ordered a CAT scan as well as a MRI, both coming back normal. I have had a full panel of bloodwork done and the only unusual result was a high level of Eosiniphils (double what they should be). After numerous visits wit my Dr. and multiple prescriptions later, he decided that I might have Fibromyalgia. I will be seeing a rhuemetologist in a few weeks but I have almost lost all hope in finally being diagnosed. Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions? I am 32 but feel more than double my age and can't stand living like this anymore!!  Much Love, Serene Marie

What thyroid tests did your Dr do? Was it just TSH? You need to have TSH, FT3. FT4 and antibodies checked. If they did'nt do all of these tests, ask them to. You can be with in "range" but it might not be the right range for you. I hope you find out what's going on. I've been having problems myself for the last year and still have'nt found an answer. Right now everything is pointing to Fibromyalgia. Take care. Remar

Thanks for the info. I'm Dr. hunting right now, hoping that my next appt. goes well. "They" say my thyroid tests are "normal" but I will definatly ask for another in depth test because thyroid problems run in my family and my syptoms do seem to fit. I hope you are doing well. Thanks again for your input!!

... how you doing..? i hope the rheumy visit goes well. i think the key is in finding the right dr. sorry that could take time. i had 3 dud drs before finding my current dr. if you can find a good dr and/ or natural therapist, with appointments longer than 10 minutes!, you'll be in with a chance of 'living well' with this thing - rather than in pure hell.

the eosininophils should be a big clue; get second opinions if you feel better checking. did the bloodtests include THYROID tests? unbalanced thyroid can cause the tiredness, hair loss, crap sleep, anxiety - all sorts of things!

the main overlap that i have with your symptoms is the fatigue and muscle pain. i found cutting gluten and dairy helped. also had to remove myself from stressful situations and i learned about relaxing. total change in lifestyle. i'm also having my thyroid monitored after it sprang out of range 8 months ago.

do what you have to, to get comfy. rest when tired. just suggestions. best,
