severe daily headaches with FS

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia after chest, throat, joint pain and generally being unwell (and after many hospital visits and tests). For the past two weeks I have had a severe headache which has worsened every day. I have had a CT Scan and I am waiting for an MRI Scan; I am on medication but nothing eases the headache (it's like a constant pressure that eases for short periods, but these periods are becoming shorter). It seems to put pressure on my neck, throat and shoulders.

Does anyone else have a similar sypmtoms or any ideas of treatment?

Thanks

You may want to consider getting TMJ ruled out. For some reason, people who have fibromyalgia are more prone to having TMJ.

I hope this helps !

I get headaches with my Fibro too. My neurologist tried me on anti-depressants which eased them a bit, however they made me depressed (the irony..). So I would really think that one out if you decide to try them.
Otherwise, I just use natural remedys, like natural chai tea. Or try to avoid loud sound and bright light when you're having one.
Sorry if this isn't too helpful. I've given up with medications myself, so I just try to live with them.
