Acid Reflux

I having been experiencing a very cold sensation after I swallow a cold liquid drink. I have been diagnosed with Acid Reflux from an endoscopy performed in October. I was also told that I have an inflammation. Can this cold sensation be caused by the acid reflux. I also have alot of belching and I also have a small hernia. My doctor said to take the Prilosec for 8 weeks. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

Hi,
The abnormal sensation you get is due to the inflammation of the esophagus which has occured due to acid reflux.
Hiatal hernia is one of the risk factors of GERD.
