Acid reflux or something else?

I'm 23 years old and I've been experiencing a lot of belching for the past couple of days. The last two days, however, I've been having a burning sensation in my chest/breast mainly on my left size. I went to the doctor yesterday from not feeling well and my heart rate was like 135-145. They took blood work and everything came out normal. My red and white blood counts were normal, no hyperthyroidism, or etc.

The doctor gave me a GI cocktail and that helped with the burning sensation until just recently it returned. They diagnosed me with acid reflux. Can the burning sensation I'm feeling come from this? I haven't taken any medicine yet for it. I'm trying to take Pepcid if I can find it anywhere. I noticed that last night by chest was very "bubbly" and my stomach starting feeling the same way. I forgot to mention but I did have a 99.2 fever which isn't really too bad. I just wish this pain goes away.

And, just to include, I had a breast exam done but the doctors didnt find anything. The doctor said that I had a pull chest muscle or at least that I was showing signs of a pulled chest muscle. I went becusse I thought my left breast seemed swollen and burning a little around my nipple. I haven't had any pain or discharges just the burning sensation. Has anyone gone through anything similar that can help me out. I appreciate all of your opinions.

Thank you for the comment. I didn't not that heartburn could actually make your chest and breast seem like it were actually burning. I will definitely try that. I just don't understand this rapid heart rate when I go to sleep at night or the other day in the hospital. I don't know if this all signs of acid reflux or something worse.

Yes, the burning sensation can come from acid reflux.  That's why they call it heartburn.

Try Metamucil before bed.  The capsule form with water works well.  The gel seems to hold down splashing for my boyfriend.  It's the only medication he needs for it if he avoids regular coffee.  If you drink coffee, try skipping it and see what happens.  Try avoiding dairy.  If coffee is the culprit, you might be able to use a low-acid coffee like Folgers Simply Smooth.  Try skipping carbonated drinks.
