Do I have it?

I am a 20 year old male with a few questions about GERD. I have this constant feeling as if something is stuck in the far back of my throat and no matter what I do, I cant get rid of it. Ive also constantly been burping as well. I don't know if these two could possibly have anything to do with one another. Ive checked these symptoms and I also thought it could be post-nasal drip, but I'm not sure. I'd just like to know what I have so I can possibly get it fixed.

Thank You.

Hi,
Though feeling of something stuck in your throat can occur in postnasal drip, your other symptom of burping suggests, that feeling of lump is due to GERD.
It can be confirmed with 24 hours pH monitoring test.
Take medications like prilosec for relief. In addition certain lifestyle changes are to be done for complete relief.
These include -
1.Weight loss if obese
2. avoid coffee, tomato based products, citrus, chocolate, alcohol, smoking, fatty food and spicy food
3.Avoiding bedtime snacks
4. Eating frequent, smaller meals
5. Going to bed 2-3 hours after food
