Hopefully you are seeing a doctor. I totally agree with Selma. From personal experience, you should not ignore these problems. My problem was largely caused by a hiatal hernia, and eventually acid took off the enamel of my teeth and wrecked my vocal chords, and worse. I say this not to scare you, but medications will help in most situations. They did for me until the hernia became too severe. Yes, they can cause palps and tachy symptoms, but if you have those, hopefully you are seeing a doctor to make sure they aren't dangerous. Look at my profile regarding heart issues.
Stay in touch.
Hi u would need to be seen by a GI dr to find out the root cause of ur GERD...it could be a hiatal hernia or something like that ...
And u need to modify ur lifestyle as well as diet.....
and do be sure ur head of the bed is elevated high enuff. Avoid all foods that trigger ur GERD...in order to do this u may need to keep a journal to know which foods r ur triggers but there r lists of food to avoid...not cut back on.....u have to commit to this in order for it to help.
And I must ask r u on meds for this, or only drinking the aloe vera juice and honey?
