HELP!

hi my name is Peter Pompilio. I am 33 years old from brooklyn ny. I have a very serious problem. Last night I came home from work feeling ok, then my tummy began to really hurt. i went to the bathroom and moved my bowels and the result was diarhea. i threw up a lot and took some pills to try to get better. no such luck. this morning i woke up and my chest was really hurting. I continued to go to the bathrooom and release diarhea and have been doing that and throwing up since that time. everything I eat has come back up. i cant keep anything down and now my chest is on fire. please tell me what to do..

im planning on going to the hospital if I dont start to feel better

please help me..

Hi,
The most likely cause is gastroenteritis most probably viral.
If you have peristent vomiting/diarrhea go to the hospital.
If not take enough fluids to keep yourself well hydrated. Drink gatorade.
The burning sensation could be due to reflux. Take PPI like prilosec.

i just looked up the side effects of metronidazole and it said nausea, stomach pains and headaches. my tummy still hurts from time to time, some headaches, minor not migranes and feel flushed and tired. is that common? i got 16 pills left (got a prescription for 21 pills) my stool is brown and black. (mostly black recently) Is that going to change anytime soon? I've been eating very bland stuff like soup, rice, turkey, potato knish. i did have half a slice of pizza but i couldnt finish it since i felt nauseous..

any way you can help?

thanks
