Is any one taking Prevacid for GERD?

I was diagnosed with GERD about 3 years ago.  I have recently been prescribed Prevacid to battle my reflux and indegestion.  Is anyone else on this course of meds?

Hi...I have been on it for 6 months...I was on and off of it over the past 15 yrs...when the gerd got better I was able to stop for yrs...and then it'd flare back up.I believe my is associated with other conditions I have.I also do not take it 14 days and stop...I take it every day as rx'd by my dr.

NeiCei- it can take while to feel the affects of the med...be patient and watch ur diet.

I have been taking it for about a week.  It is ok i guess, but I feel like maybe there is something a little stronger I should be taking.
