Nausea and tingling sensation around glands

I have been suffering for almost two years with constant nausea. I have had several tests including blood, urine, ultrasound (abdomen) MRI scan (brain) and a H.Pylori breathe test all of which came back with normal results. I was diagnosed with GERD and given omeprazole which never really helped worked and now im trying ranitidine instead. my symptoms began after a year of monthly tonsillitis which i was on antibiotics for each occasion - after this ended i began getting nausea and it has steadily gotten worse. I have literally no social life because even when i feel reasonably well im too nervous to go out and i do suffer from anxiety because of it. My nausea is difficult to describe because i dont feel like its to do with my stomach but more to do with my throat - it feels tight and tingly around where my glands are just below the jaw and i cant seem to stop the sensation. I just wanted to know if anyone else had similar symptoms and what they do about it, it really gets me down, im only 17 and i just want to be normal again.

thanks.

Thanks! i did try a DIY home gluten allergy test and it came up negative, but it would be a good idea to get tested properly at the doctors. Thanks for the advice though, i'm sure it could be as simple as a food allergy and i will look into it :)

Get tested for gluten allergy.  It's very common these days.  There are about 250 different possible symptoms.  I had a friend who had GERD symptoms as her only problem.  If you do have a problem with gluten, like Celiac disease, you will feel better when you stop eating gluten AND save yourself from all sorts of other autoimmune diseases down the road.  It may annoy you to change your eating, but it will be worth it.

Hope you find the problem, whatever it is.
