Nausea

I have GERD and IBS and although I am taking omneprazole still have nausea so much of the time...even after eating.  Any sugggestions....I feel so miserable.

One other thing - he had to stop coffee unless it's Folgers Simply Smooth.  And even then, he does better with hot tea than coffee.

Also make sure you were checked for H. pylori.  You would need a certain antibiotic to treat that.  

You could also try taking Metamucil after dinner.  My boyfriend takes 5 capsules with water before bed, and it forms a gel in his stomach and prevents acid from splashing.  It's just a side effect he found out about after he started taking it for his high cholesterol.  It also helped with constipation and bloating he didn't realize he was having.

I suggest you ask your doctor to check your Gallbladder. Do you have any pain above your bellybutton? Does the nausea get worse if you eat greasy foods? They can do an ultrasound and a HIDA scan of your gallbladder, plus lab work.
