No pain relief.

I am 52 and have recently been diagnosed with LPR. I have had a terrible sore throat for 3 months. No visible signs of any damage to my throat by ENT I had a gastroscope and everything came back normal, no acid reflux found and vocal cords in great condition. How then can I have LPR? I have been put on  40mg of Nexium once a day. I now have a sore tonque as well as my sore throat. Only been on Nexiun for a week.  It is all so confusing for me and NOTHING relieves the sore throat. Any suggestions or advice would be so appreciated.

Keep track of all of the symptoms you're experiencing and write down the questions you have. Then give your doctor a call to discuss. That's the best way to figure out what your options and best next steps are.
