Overdose on zantac as an infant

I was born with acid relfex and I've had it my whole life, the doctor I had when I was a baby overdosed me on zantac which caused me to have pulmonary, lung, and more stomach issues. So I'm wondering could that have long term effects because I'm still dependent on medicine to keep me from being sick and I wanted to know if there is cause for a malpractice suit?

You "sound" angry or at the least...quite upset. I would be very upset especially if I'd been born with acid reflux. I'm a grandmother that suffers with a rather severe case now, but have not suffered with it my entire life. However, I do know how greatly the problem is capable of compromising quality of life from time to time. I think, also, as a person ages, it can become a bit easier to adapt when health is not 100%. Rather than being angry, become proactive concerning your health, that is if you're not already. Don't take any ONE person's word as being "law". Research (google) or otherwise ask around many different sources when you have a problem you feel you need to solve and if one individual answer does not satisfy your curiosity...move right along to ask more questions from other caring and knowledgeable sources. It will alleviate some frustration, I promise, you, while at the same time further educate yourself plus possibly help you arrive at a point where you take further action in one significant healing way or another.

Hi,
Zantac is a safe medication.
It does not cause the side effects you have mentioned even if taken long term.
