Advice about medication

I have horrible menstrual cramps and the only relief i have found is ibuprofen, naproxen etc (Nsaids) but now i have developed stomach ulcers and gastro infections from it. So i I started taking paracetamol, and pretty high doses. But its not working. At all. What can i take for my cramps that works but are not nsaids? Not taking anything is not an option as I litterary wont be able to stand upright from cramps. I do take 80mg nexium a day. Thanks in advance for any help!

That is a rough one. I also don't take ibuprofen or nsaids/aspirin (for different reasons--  they increase blood pressure).  I get headaches and cramps too.  I have gerd from time to time.  Acetaminophen doesn't help me either.

How much ibuprofen were you taking?

So, what about trying a heating pad? What about a topical nsaid?  Yoga?  How may days do your cramps last each cycle?

I feel where you are coming from.  I had a great response to ibuprofen and giving it up was a loss.  Now, I only take it once in a blue moon.  That's why I asked how often you take it.
