Series of Symptoms

I have a series of symptoms which I am wondering if they relate to a stomach problem. They include:

1. mild electric like shooting pain in the left chest as in the upper part of the stomach or maybe heart
2. light headedness
3. pins and needles in fingers
4. shortness of breath
5. occasional heavy lower back pain
6. terrible upset stomach in the morning, especially after drinking some alchol before bed

Hi,
Not all symptoms you have mentioned are related to stomach problem.
Some are due to nerve problem.

You can have an upper GI endoscopy done to see what lesions you have in the stomach. For stomach related issues you can take prilosec and you need to quit drinking alcohol.

For the rest of the symptoms a thorough examination by your doctor is needed to find what is causing the nerve pain.

I appreciate your time. Could an ulcer in the stomach or lower intestine create nerve pain?

Sometimes I feel pressure in my head also. And my blood pressure is charted to have risen significantly during my series of symptoms episode.

Sometimes I feel also the need to intentionally breathe, as though my normal breathing mechanism is hampered. My wife says I sometime stop breathing for some seconds at night.

This probably falls outside the realm of gastroenterology. But I though I'd add them for completeness...
