Hi...if u r refluxing acids into ur mouth u will feel a burning sensation.
This is not good as it can affect the enamel on ur teeth.
U may have an allergy to a compound in the prilosec which is a PPI, ask ur pharmacist if H2 blockers make work better......not sure what is in the prilosec u may be allergic to.
