Stomach not functioning

My daughter has an ongoing condition which she has had for the past 5 years. She had a virus 10 years ago which left her with abdominal pain. but 5 years ago, she started being slightly sick in her mouth after food. This quickly progressed to not being able to keep any fluid or food down at all. She was admitted to hospital for lots of tests, and as a result had a laparotomy to remove her apendix and also fit a jejunum tube so that she can be tube fed. She still suffers from constant sickness if she eats normally, and on bad days which is often she brings up lots and lots of bile. the bile eats into her jejunum tube and erodes it, so she has to change it herself every month. She is still in constant pain. She has been assessed for any psychological cause which have come back as none. She is now back in hospital, as she is unable to tolerate the feed, and is constantly sick with that. She has now gone for 10 days without any nutrients, and the hospital are at their wits end. The only thing that has come out of it this time is that her pancreas is inflamed. is there anyone out there that has known of anyone with anything similar. please

Yes it has been done, and it showed that it was functioning, she has also had a menometry test done as well and that came back clear. On top of all this she now has problems with iron and B12 deficiency, also clotting problems.Which causes random bruising.
