Sudden Vomitting all day

I am a 31 year old female who has a history of GERD.  I was previously taking aciphex and monitoring my diet.  I was taken off medication aprox 2 years ago as I was no longer having any symptoms.  In the last few years I have had some symptoms but they have not been reoccuring and I have been able to manage these symptoms.  Over the last ten days I have suddenly developed severe symptoms of GERD.  I have been vomitting acid and food all day every day.  I have been attempting to control this by monitoring my food and taking OTC meds.  I have been unable to control this.  I am even throwing up water and bread!  I don't know what has caused this sudden onset of symptoms.  I have an appointment w/ my PCP in 5 days but was hoping for some insight into this problem prior to seeing my PCP.  Does anyone know what is causing the vomitting.  My life has been impacted as I spend all day throwing up!  I can' t go out in public b/c I am typically running to the bathroom every 2-3 minutes.  Please Help!!
