Throat ulcers concern

I developed mouth ulcer 30 yeas ago. I had them everyday for years. Then had upper GI done. They found my sphincter doesn't close all the way. Treat was Prilosec (omeprisole) for 14 day and swish with Maalox to heal. That has work up until about a month or so ago. Now they are in my throat and the said treatment doesn't seem as affected. I view it as I caught a virus and is activate when you have a gastric episode. I had an EMT look at my throat. He said he saw healing and no concerns. Magic Mouthwash. Verdict not out on this product, especially since I can't swallow it. Anyhow, in the the throat concerns me. Any thoughts?
