Why do I feel constantly sick?

Hi, I have decided to use this site as my GP doesn't seem to understand why I feel so ill and have been since September. It all started with a sore throat in September which turned into flu like symtoms, dizzyness and feeling constantly sick.. these symtoms lasted for three weeks. The flu, dizzyness and tiredness finally shifted but I have since been feeling sick everyday in my throat. I haven't experianced any stomach problems only feeling really sick and almost being sick on occasion, this feeling can either last all day or just for a few hours during the day.. either way I am fed up with it as I hate feeling this way. I find this feeling can occur then I feel really hungey then sick again after eatting, but sometimes the sickness just appears from no where. I have the contraceptive implant in my arm and I'm wondering if this could be the reason why I feel this way or am I experiancing built up acid? PLEASE HELP

I would suspect the hormones may be causing you some problems.  When I get out of the ordinary feelings like nausea, or anything different I always check my meds.  Do you have any other new meds?   Look at your print out for side effects, or if your pharmacy doesn't give you a print out listing side effects, google it you may be able to read the side effects on this site.  I once took Hormones and had horrible stomach cramps, and I was put on the hormone patch so it would not have to go through my stomach.  I did have some problems with the patch, but the were mild.  Taking oral hormones also made me nauseous while in the car.  Just like you, I would often experience the nausea at odd times when I took the oral hormones - estrogen, and progestin.  Right now I have a post in about the side effects for me of taking proton pump inhibitors for GERD and how they cause me so many side effects.  I have been off Prilosec for one day, and my stomach is somewhat better, and I feel better in general.  But when the heartburn and pain comes back, I will try to manage with Tums and antacids.  Always, always look at your meds. when something new crops up.  I nearly lost my hair from taking one medicine, until I figured what was going on.   Good luck with your GP.  I would change to one who does understand.  I did that recently and I am very pleased.  He is working on my problems - I have many, and it is going to take some time.   You need an understanding doctor.

This maybe just stress. I felt like that before after being ill and sometimes still feel sick when you actually arent. I advice is too relax and enjoy stuff your into. Focus on work, family, hobbies. You will be good.
