This is a very important thing, and not only when going to sleep but in lying down.....if u lie down to watch TV just after eating it will not help to wait to go to bed.Also, Elevate the head of ur bed...for more info do see the Health Pages here on MedHelp.

i have sevier acid refulux that has caused me trouble breathing. I was told not to eat anything 5 hours before going to sleep. first night, big improvement. more info to come
