Hi...well it can be a med change that is needed like Carlyhas has suggested as it is possible for the meds to stop working.
But, u should have an idea as to the root cause of ur GERD....like if u have a hiatal hernia....

Also note that low acids in the stomach can feel just like too much.It can also be med induced...so look at ne meds u may have been on recently or during the time frame u have had these issues. Antibiotics also knock out the natural balance in ur system and if u have had a need for them u may want to ask about a probiotic to  restore balance.

A PH test may be a good idea as well as an endoscopy or gastroscopy just to be sure it is excess gas and just how much or little u r dealing with.

Good luck and do keep us posted on ur progress : )

Hey eliaso,

The only way to know the answer to this is to see your doctor and they may do a gastroscopy/ endoscopy, which means they basically put a camera down into your stomach and take a peak. You may just need medication and change of diet or it could be something more. The sooner you check it out the better off you'll be.

Hope this helps. :)
