Is it your lymphnodes? Just regular throat? I've had an endoscopy done.. I've had nausea for a very long time, and I didn't have any issues. They do have a spray they can use, though. I didn't ask for it, but if you're worried, do so, or try to let the doctor know beforehand.

You MIGHT have an infection that came from quitting smoking. It could be damage that was just covered up so it didn't become worse or better, or in the midst of healing an infection caught, or you got a sinus infection that moved to other places, etc.

Don't let your doctors tell you it's all in your head. This seems to be common when THEY do not know why something is. You are living in your body, you know when something is wrong.

I semi know what you're going through at the moment. I have lymphnodes that have been swollen for a few months now, but I also do have a goiter. The goiter has gone down, and I have realized with the lymphnodes + no obstruction to my throat, I have gaggy issues touching it. This is why I ask if it's your lymphnodes. It seems to effect even the middle of my throat with a gag reaction.

Researching your medication, I see that it's a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), which means you will be making LESS acid. If it doesn't seem to be helping you, tell your doctor. I know that omeprazole (in any form) does not work for me, so possibly not all PPIs will work for you. If you work at a job that does drug testing, you might want to know this information, "This medication may affect the results of certain lab tests, such as drug screenings (pantoprazole can cause a false positive for THC, the psychoactive component of cannabis."

The best thing you can be doing is doing research on your symptoms, your medication, similar medications, your tests, procedures: everything. It's your body, know what's going on.
