GERD symptoms

Can GERD cause excess salivation "spitt up" because I have been having alot of trouble espacially after meals where I would have large amounts of saliva .

I dont know but to clarify, when I started to suffer from GERD symptoms I started having the excessive salivation Not before so I thought there might be a  relationship,,,
Im on medication and I mentioned it to my doc he says its normal and may happen for numerous reasons ....But Im certainly sure its from GERD it came with the GERD package at the same day, lol

Hi...ur body produces saliva to help break down the stomach acids and y chewing gum can be helpful to those with reflux.....I am not sure what u mean by can the GERD cause excess saliva spit up?

U r on GERD meds already?.....I would mention this to ur dr as I am not sure y u may have excess spit up?
