pain below esophagus

  I have gerd and have had it for many years. I take prevacid every day. For the last week I have had pain right below my esophagus, every day. I have an apt. with my gi but not until march 5th. has any one else experienced this?

Thanks so much...tough that I have to deal with this for another 2 weeks....but I can do it....I don't want to go to the er as I owe the hospital so much money.  I will just wait until I see me doc.

Sorry u r having this pain, and I wish I could offer insight but at the moment I am blank....

just wanted to offer some support....in saying stick to a modifies diet, and lifestyle....walk to get exercise if u can....and hopefully when u get to the Dr which  will not be long he can get u feeling better. <3
