too much acid

A  few weeks ago i had a stomach upset with resulted to me being really sick for two whole days without being able to intake anything, including water, everything that went in went out (both ends). After two whole day it went a way, one week later it's back, But this time am only feeling sick but i get really bad chest pain with it as well. I also know that my stomach is feeling this pain all the time and the only thing that seems to stop the pain for a while is if i kept it full, like to have to eat all the time othere wise the pain is unbearable. But then after a while am still hungry, and the pain start................awww I can't go on eating like this am going to end up like a ballon and very over weight........Please help

Sorry I forgot to mention where the lists were......there is a Health page icon top right of the screen and there are links in the welcome message at the top of the forum.

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

Well, too much acid can be a result of ur diet, or a hiatal hernia, stress.....

The best thing to do is see ur Dr and find out the underlying cause and get the meds and on a diet to avoid foods and drinks that may be adding to the issue. Lifestyle changes are very important also.

We do have lists of foods to avoid and foods that are safe, plus the lifestyle changes that are suggested to make.

I hope u continue to post ur concerns and questions and share ur GERD experiences with us.
