upper right quadrant pain

I have had reflux and peptic ulcer complaints for 11 years.  Thought I had it under control until 3 weeks ago.  I have no gallbladder.  I developed upper right quadrant pain, middle of the rib area pain, upper right between the shoulder pain, vomiting, nausea. The pain is worse after I eat and usually vomit 2-3 hours later.  The pain I think is resposible for the high bp (203/135) eposides, I spent the day at urgent care yesterday.  The contrast ct scan showed an enlarged bile duct, but was told that an endoscope probably needed to see about the ulcers, gerd.  Can these problems cause such a spike in bp?  Can enlarged or inflammed cbd cause this? Is there any special diet for the enlarged cbd?  Thank you for your answer, Linda sue

Hi,
The enlargement of CBD (dilatation)is due to obstruction. The obstruction could be due to stone disease or tumor or inflammation.
Ulcer can cause pain in the same area and hence has to be ruled out.
Dilatation of CBD does not hike the blood pressure.
